Petmatrix Wins Walmart Supply Chain Supplier of the Year Award
SADDLE BROOK, NEW JERSEY, February 22, 2016 - Petmatrix LLC, a leading manufacturer and marketer of patented non-rawhide pet chews sold under the Dreambone® and Smartbones® brand names, announced today that it was presented with Walmart’s Supply Chain Supplier of the Year Award.
The award is based on several performance metrics, and is awarded to the vendor who best consistently maintained a high level of supply chain reliability performance based on fill rates, on-time deliveries and in-stock levels, while dramatically growing sales. “It's a great honor to be recognized as one of Walmart’s leading suppliers,” said Mark Stern, President and CEO of Petmatrix. “This award is a reflection of the tremendous team effort at Petmatrix to provide our customers with world class service levels so they can best succeed with our products.”
Petmatrix was also nominated for Walmart’s Supplier of the Year Award. The nomination recognized the Company for its achievements in several areas, including sales and margin growth, gross margin return on inventory investment, innovation as a percentage of revenue, joint business plan results, and in-stock and order fill rates.
