Friend Skoler Announces Follow-on Investment in Salon Lofts Group

SADDLE BROOK, NEW JERSEY, January 2017 -- Friend Skoler & Co., LLC has completed a follow-on growth capital investment in Salon Lofts Group (“Salon Lofts”). Friend Skoler’s initial investment in Salon Lofts was made in 2012, when the Company had 23 salon locations across three markets. Today, the Company operates 81 locations across 9 metro markets in Ohio, Florida, Indiana, Missouri, Georgia, and North Carolina. The most recent capital raise, which included investments by current institutional, family office and individual high net worth shareholders, will fund continued expansion in existing and new geographies.

Founded in 2003, Salon Lofts develops salon stores and leases individual salon suites to hair stylists and other beauty service providers, enabling them to operate independently within a community of cosmetologists. Salon Lofts offers proprietary web based salon management and marketing support tools as well as convenient access to third party services and specialized salon products to help stylists succeed.
