Mr. Friend has over 35 years of experience working as an investor/operating manager with middle market companies. Mr. Friend is the co-founder and Managing Director of the firm.

Current and former Board memberships include Accessories Marketing, Inc., Ballet Jewels, LLC, Box Services, LLC, CNC Global Limited, Event Photography Group, Hopkins Manufacturing Corp., Kenlin Pet Supply, Madan Plastics, Inc., NAS Holdings Corp., Petmatrix LLC, United Pet Group Inc. and Woodstream Corporation. Mr. Friend has also served as a Vice President of Madan Plastics and the President of Kenlin Pet Supply.

Mr. Friend holds a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from The Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
